Nothing matters more than people,especially one's own children, whose childhoods disappear so quickly. For me it is a genuine privelige to work with people, to take portraits which will be treasured for generations, and become a permanent part of of your families life. The aim is to produce images which are a penetrating statement about the subject as well as a profound source of aesthetic pleasure.
For natural looking portraits,using modern studio lighting techniques, you must feel at ease, confident and comfortable with the situation. Being photographed in a familiar environmet like your own home or garden can be helpful. All Photoshoots can take place in my studio or a location of your choice-wherever you can just be yourself!
About us
Aurora-Photographic is a studio run by a husand and wife team, Jonathan and Natanya Phillips. We are based near Cirencester in the Cotswolds, but travel all over the UK for our clients. Jonathan is the photographer (although Natanya has also had photographs published in the Daily Telegraph and the TES) and Natanya is the boss. We have two children, Alex (pictured on the left ) and Sam ( pictured on the right ) and lead a hectic life centered around them.
